Damn small Linux, or DSL, is a 50 MB Linux distribution that is so small that it can fit on a compact media such as a USB pen drive. It is jammed pack full of useful applications, a useful desktop, and due to its size it loads very quickly. On the 50 MB distribution you have access web, ftp, and ssh servers as well as several popular applications such as XMMS, Naim, Xpdf, VNCViewer, and the Fluxbox window manager. DSL is a becoming a unique addition to the Linux on the fly distributions. DSL can also boot inside of Windows using the Qemu emulator. DSL is the perfect addition to your tech toolbox. Welcome the "headphones Bluetooth converter." As I understand the product this will allow you to listen to your MP3 player and take a call without taking out our headphones. Instead of plugging your headphones into your MP3 player you plug it into the converter which plugs into your MP3 player. And when your Bluetooth enabled phone rings you can answer the call using the converter with integrated microphone and controls. If it works like it says it sounds like a great product. Following is the original article at Gizmodo.com. |
